Manifesta — Carte blanche CONTRASTE

The Artaban Gallery-Café opens its doors with a strong proposition: high standards, artists with powerful perspectives and messages, and a program built around encounters and exchange, rooted in a young and contemporary vision.

For this carte blanche, CONTRASTE brings together 12 artists whose practices intersect around photography—as trace, language, material, or starting point.

On the occasion of the Festival OFF Arles, COLORS, a production company specializing in advertising and fiction films, unveils a new entity dedicated to art and culture.

Designed as a space for encounters between contemporary artists, filmmakers, and photographers, the exhibition sketches a dialogue between visual languages and contemporary forms of storytelling.

The exhibition celebrates the porosity of practices and the power of creative collaborations. It affirms a vision in which artists are no longer positioned at the margins of image industries, but are central forces capable of shifting perspectives and reinventing visual narratives.

Featured focus

A continuous thread throughout the season: the work of Maryam Saeedpoor, an Iranian artist whose sublime and uncompromising practice explores identity and the female experience within Iranian society, building alternative narratives in which women claim their rightful place.
