PROCESSIONS

SPIRITUALITY, RITUALS, AND SURVIVAL

IN THE AGE OF THE ANTHROPOCENE

Arnold Fokam

Partenaire : Galerie Christophe Person

Inspired by Ijaw crocodile crest masks, Arnold Fokam reinterprets the myth of Mami Wata along the banks of the Congo River.

Combining painting, sculpture, performance, and photography, his series Processions explores the links between spirituality, water, and ecological crisis through this tutelary figure of African waters.
