 ANNOUNCEMENT — LES FILLES DE LA PHOTO CURATED TRAIL × OFF FESTIVAL ARLES 2026

For the first time in 2026, the association Les Filles de la Photo is partnering with the OFF Festival Arles to create a curated trail dedicated to women photographers and the diversity of perspectives they bring to the world.
The trail will feature 10 women photographers with distinctive practices, presenting their work within the OFF program through solo or group exhibitions.

Visitors will discover a collective selection led by France’s first professional women’s network dedicated to the recognition and visibility of photography and its wider ecosystem. The project reflects a commitment to highlighting the work of women photographers through values of collaboration, dialogue, and shared perspectives.

Selected photographers will benefit from:
  • Dedicated signage
  • Inclusion on a trail map
  • Portfolio reviews offered by Les Filles de la Photo

Technical Criteria
  • Be a woman photographer presenting a solo exhibition or a series within a group exhibition registered with the OFF, for a minimum duration of one month.
Artistic Criteria
  • Quality and originality of the photographic approach
  • Relevance of the exhibited project
  • Clarity and maturity of the artistic statement
Curatorial Criteria
  • Diversity of photographic practices and forms
  • Diversity of backgrounds and generations
  • Plurality of narratives and perspectives

TO PREPARE FOR APPLICATION

  • Registration confirmation email for the OFF Festival Arles
  • A biography
  • A short illustrated description of the exhibition project in Arles (maximum 5 images, 500 characters)
  • A portfolio including at least 10 images
  • Website / Instagram
