Arles is an essential platform for showcasing, raising the profile and developing the work of artists. With this in mind, we are committed to strengthening this momentum by introducing prizes dedicated to stimulating emerging creation.
The disappearance of the Prix Révélation, formerly awarded by Voies Off and the SAIF, is making itself felt. It was important to reinstate it. The Prize RÉVÉLATION SAIF x LA KABINE is part of a drive to promote an inclusive, respectful and ethical photography prize for all participants, photographers, jury, volunteers and members of the public. The prize will be awarded during the opening week of the Off festival, on 5 July 2024. Our first commitment is to ensure that this prize is accessible to everyone. There will be no entry fee.
The prize is worth a total of €5,000, with one winner receiving €2,000. In addition, 30 finalists will be selected and given the opportunity to present their series at the prize-giving evening, in the form of a screening in the courtyard of the Palais de l'Archevêché in Arles on 5 July 2024. The 30 finalists will also receive a €100 royalty for presenting their work.
Deadline for applications is midnight on 30 May 2024!
CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION
- Free of charge, open to all authors, regardless of age or background, providing proof of their status as an artist-author.
- Be over 18 years of age
- Submit a coherent series of 10 to 15 images. The images must not be commissioned or produced for publicity purposes and must not have already won an award.
- Provide the information requested to validate the application (details can be consulted in the rules for the call for applications)
Any application containing sexist, homophobic, racist or discriminatory photographs will be automatically rejected.
